A: Yes, provided you sign a promissory note, stating the following:
  • Date of payments
  • Amount
  • Complete address
  • Phone numbers of the client

Q: What are the requirements needed for insurance claim?
A: Please provide a photocopy of the following:
  • Insurance Policy with OR of Premium
  • LTO Registration (latest)
  • Driver's License with Official Receipt
  • Police Report
  • Pictures showing the damaged portion and the plate number
  • Medical Certificate & Official Receipt of expenses for Third Party Claim (TPL)

Q: How much is the customer's participation on insurance claims? How much for the replaced parts?
A: Customer's participation is .5% of the amount insured. Meanwhile, the customer's participation for replaced parts is computed based on the following rates:

Age of Vehicle Rate of Depreciation
(Shared of the Insured)
Up to 3 years NIL
Over 3 up to 4 yrs 25%
Over 4 up to 5 yrs 30%
Over 5 up to 6 yrs 35%
Over 6 up to 7 yrs 40%
Over 7 up to 8 yrs 45%
Rebuilt & Reconditioned Vehicles 45%
Shock Absorbers (for 3-year old vehicles) 50%

Q: In case of theft (carnap), what are the steps in claiming?
A: Here are the steps in claiming:
  1. The driver/owner must immediately report he incident to the police authorities for the FLASH ALARM
  2. Report to the Constabulary Highway Patrol Group (CHPG) in Camp Crame with the original copy of the registration certificate
  3. Secure copies of the Flash Alarm sheet and Complaint Sheet
  4. Submit the copies to TBK
  5. Sixty (60) days from the day of the incident, secure a Certification of Non-Recovery from CHPG Camp Crame
  6. Submit the Certification of Non-Recovery to TBK
